As an Order Picker, you will be instrumental in ensuring our customers receive the correct items in a timely manner. Your primary responsibilities will include navigating the warehouse, locating products using order sheets or scanners, and transporting items to the packing station. This role demands accuracy, speed, and a keen eye for detail. A strong understanding of inventory management is beneficial, and experience with RF scanners is a plus. Safety is our top priority, and all employees are required to use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow all established safety procedures. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves using order lists or scanning devices.
- Verify product codes and quantities against order requirements.
- Transport picked items to designated packing or staging areas.
- Maintain productivity standards while ensuring order accuracy.
- Report any discrepancies in inventory or product damage to supervisors.
- Operate powered industrial trucks (if trained and certified) and other material handling equipment.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, including stocking and replenishment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Capacity for lifting and moving products up to 40 lbs.
- Familiarity with RF scanning technology is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
