We are looking for a dependable Material Handler to join our logistics team in Orlando, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout our distribution center. Your duties will include operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment, loading and unloading trucks, and assisting with inventory management. A strong emphasis is placed on safety, and all team members must wear appropriate PPE and follow all safety protocols. This position requires physical stamina, including frequent lifting and manual handling of goods. - Operating forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and skillfully.
- Loading and unloading trailers and containers with efficiency and care.
- Transporting materials to and from designated storage areas.
- Assisting with inventory counts and stock organization.
- Maintaining a clean and safe workspace, adhering to 5S principles.
- Strictly following all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandated use of PPE.
- Performing routine inspections and basic maintenance on equipment.
- Collaborating with supervisors and team members to ensure operational efficiency.
- Participating in ongoing training sessions to enhance skills and safety awareness.
- Must be capable of heavy lifting up to 60 lbs.
