We are hiring Picker/Packers for our busy facility in San Antonio, Texas! This role is essential for our order fulfillment process. You will be responsible for accurately picking items from warehouse shelves and preparing them for shipment. This involves reading order sheets, locating products, and carefully packing them to ensure they arrive safely at their destination. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, efficient, and committed to quality. As a Picker/Packer, you are a key player in our logistics operations, directly impacting customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products based on customer orders.
- Verify picked items against order details.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Select appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages correctly.
- Maintain a clean and organized picking and packing station.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts.
- Follow all safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Report any damaged or missing items.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics team.
- Adhere to company standards for quality and productivity.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker or packer is beneficial.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift items.
- Familiarity with safe lifting practices.
- Commitment to following safety procedures and using PPE.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
