Your primary duties will involve the movement and organization of materials throughout the facility, including receiving, stocking, and preparing items for shipment. You will operate equipment such as pallet jacks and potentially forklifts (if certified), ensuring efficient material flow. This role requires physical strength and endurance, including the ability to perform frequent lifting of substantial weight. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials and products.
- Transport goods to and from designated storage areas and shipping docks.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory counts and records.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and hazard-free.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE .
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics department.
- Perform frequent lifting of items weighing up to 60 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to perform frequent lifting of up to 60 lbs.
- Proficiency with pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and the correct usage of PPE .
- Basic knowledge of inventory management and logistics principles.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent physical stamina and a strong work ethic.
