We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associate to join our team in Omaha, Nebraska. This position is integral to the smooth functioning of our logistics operations, ensuring that inventory is managed efficiently and accurately. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be involved in a variety of tasks, including receiving, stocking, picking, and shipping materials. We are committed to providing a safe and productive work environment, and we expect all employees to adhere to our stringent Safety guidelines. The ideal candidate is physically fit, possesses good organizational skills, and is eager to contribute to a team-oriented atmosphere. Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and inspect for damage.
- Stock received goods in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare shipments for outgoing transportation, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks safely.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Report any unsafe conditions or operational issues to management immediately.
- Support other warehouse functions as needed to ensure operational flow in our logistics network.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred.
- Ability to perform frequent Lifting of up to 60 pounds.
- Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment is a plus.
- Strong understanding of Safety procedures and regulations.
- Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Must be punctual and dependable.
