We are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our bustling warehouse facility in Fort Worth, Texas. As an Order Picker, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our customers receive their correct orders swiftly and accurately. This role is a cornerstone of our e-commerce fulfillment process, requiring precision and efficiency. You will navigate the warehouse using a scanner, locating and retrieving items from designated shelves and locations to fulfill customer orders. The environment is dynamic and requires individuals who are comfortable with physical tasks, including moderate lifting and extended periods of standing and walking. A strong commitment to workplace safety is essential, and you will be expected to consistently utilize provided PPE . Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders using a scanner and picking list.
- Locate products within the warehouse efficiently.
- Verify product codes and quantities before packing.
- Stage picked orders for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if trained).
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, particularly regarding safety .
- Report any discrepancies or damaged items immediately.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse or picking experience is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand picking lists and item codes.
- Proficiency with hand-held scanners.
- Must be able to perform tasks that involve regular lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must wear provided PPE , including safety shoes and vests.
- Understanding of basic logistics principles is beneficial.
