Join our vibrant logistics team as a Shipping Clerk in Miami, Florida. This crucial role ensures that all products are dispatched efficiently and accurately, meeting our customers' expectations. You will be responsible for preparing outgoing shipments, generating shipping labels, coordinating with various carriers, and maintaining comprehensive shipping documentation. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a high-volume warehouse environment. A strong commitment to safety is essential, requiring strict adherence to all safety procedures and the correct use of PPE. While this role primarily focuses on documentation and coordination, some physical tasks may be involved, including occasional Lifting of packages. Experience with shipping software and carrier portals is highly desirable. You will work closely with our warehouse and operations teams to ensure a smooth and timely flow of goods, contributing significantly to our overall logistics success. Responsibilities:
- Process and prepare outgoing shipments for delivery.
- Generate shipping labels and accurately apply them to packages.
- Schedule and coordinate pickups with various shipping carriers.
- Maintain accurate records of all shipments, including tracking information.
- Ensure packages are properly secured for transit.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Communicate with internal teams and external partners regarding shipment status.
- Assist with other logistics-related tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or a related warehouse role is preferred.
- Familiarity with shipping software and carrier platforms.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to perform tasks involving some physical activity, including occasional Lifting.
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
