Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from designated warehouse locations based on order slips.
- Pack selected items into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring they are secure and protected.
- Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems to track inventory movements.
- Verify item counts and product codes for accuracy.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to 5S principles.
- Follow all safety protocols and wear designated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Meet or exceed daily picking and packing quotas.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts.
- Assist with receiving and put-away tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in order picking or packing is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Willingness to work collaboratively with team members.
- Commitment to adhering to all safety regulations and procedures, vital for logistics success.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Basic computer literacy is helpful.
