Join our fast-paced logistics team in Houston, Texas, as an Order Picker! We are looking for efficient and accurate individuals to gather products from our warehouse based on customer orders. This role is critical for ensuring timely and correct shipments, contributing directly to customer satisfaction. You will work with technology such as RF scanners to locate and retrieve items, ensuring that each order is fulfilled precisely. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick designated items from warehouse inventory using RF scanners and pick lists.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order requirements.
- Inspect products for any defects or damage before preparing them for shipment.
- Assist in staging picked orders for packing and shipping processes.
- Maintain organized pick paths and contribute to the overall tidiness of the warehouse.
- Participate in inventory management activities, including cycle counting and stock rotation.
- Strictly adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, including the correct use of PPE.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists and product codes accurately.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and lifting items up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced logistics environment.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices and the importance of using PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
