Our Phoenix, Arizona facility is looking for a skilled Shipping Clerk to join our efficient Logistics team. This role is critical for ensuring that all outgoing shipments are processed accurately, securely, and on time, directly impacting customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational abilities, a keen eye for detail, and a robust understanding of shipping procedures and Safety protocols. Your primary duties will include verifying order accuracy, selecting appropriate packaging materials, carefully packing items, generating shipping labels, and preparing all necessary documentation for carriers. You will also coordinate with shipping partners to schedule pickups and track shipments. Maintaining clear and accurate records is essential for this position. The ability to perform regular Lifting of packages and boxes is required. Strict adherence to all Safety guidelines and the consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) are mandatory. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and verify orders for shipment.
- Select proper packaging and ensure secure packing of items.
- Generate shipping labels and all required documentation.
- Coordinate with freight carriers for timely pickups.
- Track shipments and manage shipping logs.
- Maintain a clean and organized shipping area.
- Adhere to all company Safety standards and procedures.
- Utilize appropriate PPE throughout the shipping process.
- Handle tasks involving frequent Lifting of parcels.
- Support the Logistics department with efficient outbound operations.
