Our Baltimore, Maryland location is seeking a diligent Receiving Clerk to enhance our Logistics operations. This position is crucial for managing the inbound flow of goods, ensuring inventory accuracy, and supporting the efficient functioning of our warehouse. The ideal candidate will be meticulous, organized, and committed to maintaining a high standard of Safety. Responsibilities include the physical unloading of incoming freight, meticulous verification of shipment contents against purchase orders and packing slips, and thorough inspection of goods for any damages or discrepancies. Accurate and timely data entry into our inventory management system is paramount. You will also be responsible for reporting any issues encountered during the receiving process and assisting with the organization and staging of received materials. The role requires the ability to perform moderate Lifting of boxes and materials. Consistent use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adherence to all warehouse Safety protocols are non-negotiable. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments efficiently.
- Verify the accuracy of received goods against order documentation.
- Inspect all incoming items for damage or defects.
- Enter receiving data accurately into the inventory system.
- Identify and report discrepancies or damages promptly.
- Stage received items for put-away or further processing.
- Ensure adherence to all Safety policies and procedures.
- Use required PPE throughout all receiving operations.
- Handle tasks involving regular Lifting of incoming stock.
- Support the Logistics team with accurate receiving information.
