Responsibilities We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Sales Executive to generate new business, manage existing accounts, and achieve sales targets. Working closely with the Sales Director, you will help deliver the strategic business plan, expand the customer base, and strengthen market presence.
You will build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships through regular field-based visits (minimum three days per week), gaining a deep understanding of customer needs and values. The role also involves identifying emerging markets, monitoring competitors and new products, and promoting our solutions using strong communication and negotiation skills.
You will present tailored solutions and close deals across a sales database of 300+ customers.
Requirements
Sales Performance & Growth:
Achieve or exceed sales targets, drive new customer acquisition, and build long-term client relationships through proactive lead generation.
Customer Engagement & Solutions:
Understand customer needs, deliver tailored technical solutions, and conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and sales pitches while providing exceptional service.
Business Development & Market Insight:
Identify and pursue opportunities, negotiate and close deals, and gather market intelligence to track trends and growth opportunities.
Collaboration & Representation:
Work closely with internal teams and represent the company at industry events to promote products and strengthen brand presence.
Reporting & Administration:
Maintain accurate CRM records, produce performance reports, and stay up to date on industry and product knowledge.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Proven experience in sales, ideally within the manufacturing sector.
Ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
A valid driving licence is essential for travel to customer sites.
Proficiency in gathering market insights and understanding customer needs.
Good Maths and English skills (C grade or above).
Due to the nature of the role, we are only accepting right to work UK.
