We are currently seeking two Business Analysts who will be responsible for mapping, analysing and documenting critical business processes across multiple capabilities and business areas including shared service functions.
As the successful applicant you’ll be responsible for ensuring that processes, systems and other critical knowledge is accurately captured, standardised and made available for business teams to utilise to ensure continuity of operations. A hugely important role you will bridge gaps between subject matter experts, knowledge authors and leadership by identifying connections and dependencies between business capabilities and processes, identifying stakeholders, and supporting the development of training materials.
Both opportunities are currently being offered for a fixed term of 18 months.
Responsibilities
Work with business leaders and SMEs to identify critical processes, systems and other knowledge critical to maintaining organisational capabilities.
Work with SMEs and business teams to identify existing documented knowledge for transfer to a new central knowledge repository.
Facilitate workshops and interviews to capture end‑to‑end process flows.
Document processes from a task, people and system perspective using standardised templates.
Create process maps, diagrams and other visual aids to aid knowledge capture and transfer.
Analyse processes for dependencies, risk areas, potential gaps and critical knowledge required to operate the processes.
Support knowledge validation workshops and contribute toward the creation of the central knowledge repository. Partner with knowledge managers and authors to ensure documentation meets project standards.
Recommend improvements and standardisation opportunities as knowledge is documented.
Track progress of knowledge documentation across multiple capabilities and provide reporting of status at the capability level and against project milestones.
Analyse business operations to optimise ways of working and resource deployment and location.
Skills Experience & Background
Experience as a Business Analyst or similar.
Experience in large‑scale transformation or knowledge capture projects desirable.
Strong knowledge of business process modelling and documentation techniques.
Experience with process tools (e.g. Visio, ARIS).
Evidence of strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
Excellent facilitation and interviewing skills.
Strong stakeholder management across multiple functions.
Ability to work with both technical and non‑technical SMEs.
Knowledge of financial services and/or fleet management highly desirable.
Familiarity with knowledge management practices advantageous.
