Duties
- Welcome guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression of the hotel experience
- Manage guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently using hotel management software
- Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately via phone or online platforms
- Provide detailed information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest satisfaction
- Answer multi-line phone systems promptly with professional phone etiquette and assist with inquiries or requests
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are prepared for new arrivals
- Assist guests with special requests, such as room upgrades or additional services, to exceed expectations
- Conduct night audit procedures when scheduled, balancing accounts and preparing reports for management
- Maintain accurate records of guest information, billing details, and reservations in compliance with privacy policies
- Address guest concerns promptly and professionally, striving to resolve issues efficiently and courteously
- Promote hotel amenities and services to maximize guest engagement and revenue opportunities
- Uphold high standards of hospitality management by fostering positive guest relations throughout their stay
Requirements
- Proven experience in hotel management or front desk operations within a resort or hospitality setting
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guests effectively
- Proficiency in hotel management software and multi-line phone systems
- Knowledge of hospitality management principles and guest services best practices
- Ability to handle night audit procedures confidently when required
- Familiarity with hotel experience standards including check-in/check-out processes and reservation systems
- Exceptional phone etiquette skills for professional interactions over the phone and in person
- Multitasking ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently during busy periods
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in record-keeping and reporting
