Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, excellent kitchen skills, and experience working in fast-paced dining environments. Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
  • Assist with menu planning and ingredient selection to ensure quality and consistency
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety protocols
  • Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices
  • Plate dishes attractively and efficiently for service
  • Support the team during busy periods by assisting with food preparation and service tasks
  • Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and cleaned regularly
  • Follow dietary guidelines and accommodate special dietary needs when required
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders

Skills

  • Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or culinary roles within restaurants or catering services
  • Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
  • Experience with menu planning and fine dining presentation is a plus
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Familiarity with the food industry trends and customer service expectations
  • Previous dietary aide or dietary department experience is advantageous but not required
