Haven of Arcola is a compassionate, resident-centered long-term care community dedicated to delivering high-quality support in a safe and comfortable environment. We are seeking a dependable and caring Resident Aide to join our team and contribute to the well-being of those we serve.

The Resident Aide plays a key role in supporting daily community operations and ensuring residents receive prompt, respectful, and attentive assistance. This position works closely with nursing staff and helps maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.

• Deliver meal trays to residents in a timely and courteous manner
• Respond promptly to resident call lights and relay needs to nursing staff as appropriate
• Pass and refill ice water according to facility guidelines
• Assist residents during supervised smoke breaks, following safety protocols
• Make beds and tidy resident rooms to ensure comfort and cleanliness
• Restock linens and maintain organized supply areas
• Provide general assistance to staff and residents
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or nursing staff

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience in long-term care, assisted living, hospitality, or similar fields is a plus but not required
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
