Maintenance Electrical Technician

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Electrical Technician will provide electrical maintenance support at an industry-leading manufacturing facility. The role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and optimizing production equipment and automation systems. The technician will support preventive maintenance, process improvement projects, and work collaboratively with the technical team to ensure safe and reliable machine operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance on automated production machinery and electrical systems

• Support preventive maintenance activities to improve equipment reliability

• Work with electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems and controls

• Diagnose and repair issues involving motor controls, overhead cranes, castings, and automation technologies

• Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams on process improvement projects

• Ensure work complies with safety standards, procedures, and maintenance documentation

Required Qualifications:

• Two-year degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Electrical Technology, or related field

• Four or more years of industrial electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment

• Knowledge of hydraulic and mechanical systems

• Understanding of automation systems, electrical power concepts, and motor controls

• Experience troubleshooting and repairing production equipment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a steel manufacturing or heavy industrial plant

• Familiarity with large automated industrial equipment

Benefits:

This is a direct hire opportunity. The selected candidate will be employed directly by our client. All compensation and benefits, including but not limited to medical insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other perks, will be provided by the client in accordance with their internal policies and subject to applicable laws and eligibility requirements.

Pay Range:
$97,000 – $124,000 annual base compensation, with additional overtime potential (depending on experience).
