Location: Kiddie Academy of Downtown
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM

Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and dedicated Toddler Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will work with toddlers (typically 12–24 months old) to support their social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development in a safe and stimulating classroom environment.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of toddlers at all times.
- Create and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned with our Life Essentials curriculum.
- Foster a warm, positive, and inclusive classroom atmosphere where children feel secure and valued.
- Promote language development, early literacy, and basic motor skills through structured activities and play.
- Build strong, open communication with families regarding their child's progress and daily experiences.
- Maintain classroom cleanliness, organization, and compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and leadership to maintain a supportive and effective teaching environment.
- Monitor and document developmental milestones and daily reports using classroom tools and software.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED required; CDA or degree in Early Childhood Education (or related field) preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience working with toddlers in a licensed childcare center is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of early childhood development and appropriate classroom practices.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
- Excellent communication, patience, and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and engage in physical activity throughout the day.
