Junior Software Developer

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Software Developer with hands-on experience in C#.NET to join our growing development team. This position supports the design, development, testing, and maintenance of web applications using C#.NET, and related technologies. Working under the guidance of senior developers, this role writes clean, maintainable code, assists with debugging, and participates in code reviews to support high-quality software delivery. The position contributes to database development, API integration, and backend services. Ideal candidates possess a foundational understanding of .NET development, strong problem-solving abilities, and a desire to learn new tools and technologies. Exposure to MySQL, AWS, and DevOps practices—through coursework or hands-on projects—is highly beneficial. This role also offers opportunities to work within a diverse technical environment, including cloud platforms, relational databases, web frameworks, and modern development tools.
Requirements

• This is a full-time, onsite position in Las Vegas, NV. Candidates are required to be a U.S. Person. "U.S. Person" means an individual who is one of the following:

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain applications using C# .NET
• Collaborate with senior developers to implement new features and resolve issues
• Debug and troubleshoot application defects across development and production environments
• Assist in writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Participate in code reviews and follow established coding standards
• Help maintain and improve system performance, reliability, and scalability
• Contribute to technical documentation and user guides as needed

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• Basic knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles
• Experience with C# and the .NET ecosystem
• SQL skills, including queries, views, and stored procedures, preferably with MySQL or equivalent
• Familiarity with REST APIs and web services
• Understanding of version control systems, preferably Git
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• Exposure to Dapper
• Basic understanding of AWS or other cloud services
• Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks such as MSTest, or xUnit
