3/4th Grade Science Teacher

The 3rd/4th Grade Science Teacher teaches elementary science using hands-on, standards-based instruction. The focus is on building strong science understanding, curiosity, and foundational skills aligned to Indiana Academic Standards.

• Teach 3rd and/or 4th grade science aligned to Indiana Academic Standards.
• Plan and deliver engaging, hands-on, and inquiry-based lessons.
• Use the school's adopted curriculum and instructional resources.
• Assess student learning and adjust instruction as needed.
• Create a positive, structured, and supportive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with grade-level teams and support staff.
• Communicate with families as needed.

• Valid elementary teaching license or eligibility for licensure.
• Strong understanding of elementary science concepts.
• Experience with upper elementary students preferred.
