Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to lead behavioral intervention programs and support individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. In this role, you will develop and implement evidence-based behavioral strategies, conduct assessments, and collaborate with families, educators, and healthcare providers to promote meaningful progress. Your expertise will help improve the quality of life for clients by delivering patient-centered care rooted in applied behavior analysis (ABA). Duties
- Design and oversee individualized behavior intervention plans grounded in applied behavior analysis principles to address clients' unique needs.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including diagnostic evaluations and functional behavior assessments, to inform treatment strategies.
- Collect, analyze, and document data meticulously during therapy sessions to monitor progress and adjust interventions accordingly.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including special educators, speech therapists, and medical professionals—to ensure holistic care.
- Provide training and supervision to behavior technicians and caregivers on implementing behavioral strategies consistently and effectively.
- Maintain accurate medical records, ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations, and document all patient interactions in accordance with medical terminology standards.
- Facilitate intake processes for new clients by conducting initial evaluations and developing tailored treatment plans aligned with client goals.
Experience
- Proven experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorder.
- Demonstrated expertise in behavioral therapy techniques and applied behavior analysis (ABA).
- Prior experience in patient assessment, data collection, and medical documentation within a healthcare or educational setting.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and experience working with medical records is highly desirable.
- Strong background in special education or behavioral health fields is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including individuals with disabilities across various age groups. Pay: $85, $102,921.46 per year
