We are seeking a highly organized and detail-focused Construction Project Coordinator to support our project management and field team across a diverse range of commercial projects, including public works, federal contracts, and emergency response work. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience project coordinating for a general contractor, with a proven track record on projects ranging from $1 million to $15 million in value.
This position will support the team by ensuring construction projects are executed efficiently, on schedule, and within budget. This role acts as a key liaison between the office, field personnel, subcontractors, and vendors. This role is critical as we transition from a specialty subcontractor into a full-service general contractor.
Key Responsibilities
Project Administration & Oversight
- Manage and maintain all project documentation including contracts, drawings, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and closeout documents in OneDrive and Procore.
- Ensure project records comply with public agency, owner, and internal requirements.
- Assist Project Managers with project planning, tracking, and execution.
- Act as a trusted resource to Project Managers and Project Engineers on documentation and compliance matters.
Public Works & Compliance
- Communicate and collaborate with internal labor compliance team in regards to the expectations and document requirements for prevailing wage projects and contracts.
- Understand essential PLA requirements and assist with coordinating pre-construction meeting preparation
- Coordinate with public agencies, inspectors, and third-party consultants as required.
Subcontractor & Vendor Coordination
- Lead subcontractor onboarding and documentation.
- Coordinate subcontract agreements, insurance, bonds, and lien releases.
- Track material procurement, lead times, and delivery schedules.
- Verify with labor compliance team regarding subcontractor compliance before releasing
