La Riv in Georgetown is seeking Upscale bartenders

We opened our Georgetown location in 2024 and have been providing Georgetown with amazing hand made pastas, wood fired pizzas and steaks, curated wine menus, and exceptional service ever since.

We are looking to bring on a few key players to help elevate our dining experience.

What we love: enthusiasm, empathy, thriving in a guest oriented from scratch kitchen environment.

What we need: energetic, passionate, and organized individuals with a desire to provide elegant and guest indulgent service.

Bartenders should have craft cocktail experience, wine experience also preferred.

Servers- must have at least 2 years full service restaurant experience. Wine knowledge is a plus.

Organized, clean, and ready to hustle when needed.

Yes bar is tip pool with other bartenders, no you do not have a bar back, yes you have a full 6 table cocktail section also. Standard restocking daily and preparing fresh juices required.

Responsibilities:

The ideal candidates will have creativity and the ability to shift and adjust based on guests' needs

• Providing a professional and inviting attitude when interacting with guest and employees.

Input on unique food and beverage-appropriate menus

• Thoroughly answer all food and beverage preparation questions.

Consulting with clients to determine preferences, expectations, food allergies and dietary restrictions

• Maintaining the cleanliness of tables and dining area around guest and completing opening, running and closing side work related to job-duties.

Summary

As a Fine Dining Bartender/Server, you will be essential in delivering an exquisite dining experience for our guests. Reporting to the FOH Manager, you will utilize your core skills in bartending/serving, customer service, and food safety to deliver exceptional beverages and from-scratch dishes. Experience with POS systems is extremely helpful. With a focus on time management and sales, you will contribute to a memorable atmosphere while ensuring guest satisfaction in a fast-paced environment. Join us to elevate our dining experience
