Basilico Italiano in Concord, NC is looking for a Pizza Cook to join our team and prepare delicious pizzas for our customers. We are a small family-owned business that has been in business for 6 years. We take great pride in serving delicious food and service to our customers. We are looking for a personable, hardworking team player who takes great pride in serving good quality food and service. We have recently expanded our menu and need someone with experience to help us continue to grow.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the kitchen area with attention to cleanliness and order
• Cook the pizza according to the menu in a quick-service style setting
• Keep the kitchen area clean and orderly at all times
• Stock all ingredients needed to make pizza
• Check with the cook to find out when they need assistance in preparing food or when it needs to be cooled
• Ensure that all food comes out simultaneously and at high quality
• Maintain equipment properly
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards

Skills & Requirements

• A minimum of (1) year experience as a Cook in a restaurant or other commercial setting is preferred, but not required
• Must be able to work cooperatively with other employees and be a team player
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time, lift up to 50 lbs., bend, twist, reach, sweep, handle hot/varies temperatures above normal temperatures

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $20.00 per hour
