We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have experience in the food industry. As a Server, you will be responsible for creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while efficiently managing orders and ensuring food safety standards are met.

Duties

• Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, providing excellent guest relations throughout their dining experience.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using Micros POS, or similar systems.
• Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
• Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining high standards of sanitation and food safety.
• Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring all items meet quality standards before serving.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to communicate special requests or dietary restrictions from guests.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, performing basic math calculations when necessary.
• Address any guest concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit.

Qualifications (preferred, not required)

• Previous restaurant experience is preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Experience with food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations is essential.
• Familiarity with POS systems
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
