The Fort Worth Club is seeking a talented and driven Sous Chef to join our prestigious culinary team. This leadership role reports to either the Grille Chef, Executive Sous Chef, or Executive Pastry Chef, all of whom report to the Executive Chef.

The Sous Chef is responsible for supervising Line Cooks, Prep Cooks, and Pastry Cooks within their designated area, ensuring that food production is executed with excellence in a safe, clean, and efficient environment.

In this role, the Sous Chef assists their supervising chef with daily operations, taking full responsibility for their kitchen space when needed. They lead by example, conduct quality control, and foster a collaborative team culture.

Responsibilities include coordinating with Front of House managers to deliver exceptional member and guest experiences, ensuring stations are properly prepped and organized, and maintaining rigorous sanitation and safety standards. The Sous Chef also oversees deep cleaning routines, shift closures, and staff training, while managing labor efficiently to regulate scheduling and overtime.

Candidates must hold a nationally recognized Food Manager's Certification and demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Integrity, discretion, and a commitment to continuous improvement are essential.

The ideal candidate will be courteous, respectful, and capable of setting high standards for their team.

Physical requirements include standing, walking, kneeling, and lifting to 30 lbs. for extended periods.
