Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher Asst. to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. As an asst. teacher, you will play a crucial role in the early development of children, guiding them through their formative years with engaging lessons and activities that promote learning and growth.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively while promoting positive interactions among students.
- Assess and document children's progress in literacy education and other developmental milestones.
- Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support child welfare and development.
- Collaborate with other educators to enhance curriculum development and share best practices.
- Provide individualized tutoring and support to students as needed to ensure their success.
- Organize activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development in early childhood education.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children in an educational setting is highly desirable.
- Strong skills in lesson planning, curriculum development, and classroom management.
- Knowledge of child welfare practices and early childhood development principles.
- Ability to educate young learners effectively while fostering a love for learning.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with students, parents, and staff.
- A commitment to creating an inclusive environment for all students.
