Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent guest service skills and a passion for the culinary arts. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional dining experience by ensuring that guests receive prompt, attentive service while maintaining a clean and sanitized environment.

Duties

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
• Take accurate food and drink orders using basic math skills to ensure proper billing.
• Assist with food preparation and ensure all dishes are presented according to restaurant standards.
• Sanitate tables, utensils, and dining areas to maintain cleanliness and adhere to health regulations.
• Process payments using a cash register, ensuring accuracy in transactions.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest inquiries or concerns.
• Provide recommendations for food pairings and upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, particularly in fine dining settings.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is preferred but not required.
• Strong guest service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of culinary practices, including food preparation techniques, is a plus.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
