We're looking for a hands-on remote Manager of Reporting & Analytics Assistance to lead data strategy, reporting, and analytics efforts across our client's corporate IT organization. You'll guide data access, warehousing, pipelines, and dashboards that power key operational decisions, from headcount and expenses to project delivery and asset performance. This role blends data engineering, analytics, and cloud development with the opportunity to influence enterprise-wide reporting standards. This is a fully remote position with the West Coast preferred, but open to Central/East.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Drive the strategy for data, reporting, and analytics across Corporate IT.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for the ETL architecture for the EDW.
  • Design & maintain data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes & Azure-based solutions (ADF, SQL, PaaS).
  • Partner with BI teams, DBAs, and IT leaders to enhance data models and resolve issues.
  • Conduct preliminary testing of the warehousing environment before data is extracted.
  • Responsible for analyzing customer requirements and creating web-based applications in Azure.
  • Develop technical interfaces, specifications, and architecture.
  • Build dashboards and automated reporting solutions; convert legacy reports to scalable BI.
  • Design, develop, and support Cloud-Native applications and API development using .NET, .NET Core, and Containers (preferred).
  • Responsible for converting existing reports to automated dashboards.
  • Ensure data integrity, governance, and standard operating procedures.
  • Troubleshoot issues, maintain environments, and support continuous improvement.
  • Develops and maintains monthly dashboards of key operational performance indicators, incorporating data from multiple internal and external sources, and communicates results to leadership.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • Bachelor's in CS, MIS, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3–5+ years in data engineering, analytics, or similar roles.
  • Strong experience with Azure Data Factory, SQL, data warehousing, ETL/ELT.
  • 5 years of experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD, Git, and cloud architecture.
  • Well-versed with Azure and other GIT repositories, Azure offerings, with work experience on Web apps, ASE, ASP, function apps, SQL PaaS, and Storage accounts.
  • Proficiency in warehousing architecture techniques, including MOLAP, ROLAP, ODS, DM, and EDW.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Visual Studio, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, SSMS, SQL Server, Visio & other Microsoft Office programs.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure IaaS (VMs, VNET, NSG Rules, VPN Gateways & Express Route)
