Maintenance Technician

Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable, self-motivated Maintenance Technician to provide on-site general maintenance support across multiple locations in the Greater Boston area. This position offers hands-on responsibility for maintaining a clean, safe, and fully operational environment for our staff and guests. The role is available on a part-time or full-time basis. Reliable transportation is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general building maintenance, including minor repairs, painting, lighting, and plumbing.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and service tickets.
• Conduct regular inspections of properties and equipment to identify maintenance needs or safety issues.
• Support seasonal upkeep, including basic landscaping, snow removal (assisting third-party vendors as needed), and debris removal.
• Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors as directed by management.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Report urgent issues, hazards, or equipment failures to the Property Manager immediately.
• Communicate and provide updates to on-site teams via the designated online platform.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on maintenance or facilities experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general repairs.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license required.
• Flexibility to support additional nearby locations in the future is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
