The Purpose
At Assembly, we are a dedicated team committed to delivering exceptional spaces. Every team member plays an essential role in our success, and our Project Managers are central to that mission. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of assigned projects—from handover by the Business Development team through to final closeout.

Our Project Managers are responsible for planning project delivery in partnership with our Operations team, managing on-site execution alongside our operations crew, and ensuring all work is completed on schedule and within budget.

The Job
Project Estimation & Budget Management

  • Assist the Managing Director, Director of Operations, and/or Business Development in estimating project costs
  • Understand and take ownership of the budgets for all assigned projects
  • Monitor overall project profitability and prepare post-project calculations
  • Track and report on all change orders

Project Planning & Coordination

  • Participate in pre- and post-event team meetings and briefings
  • Create and manage overall project timelines
  • Coordinate and distribute all project documentation (e.g., CAD drawings, engineering documents)
  • Collaborate with internal departments, including CAD, engineering, permitting, purchasing, graphics, and warehouse

Subcontractor & Logistics Management

  • Schedule and coordinate all third-party subcontractors
  • Manage subcontractor purchasing needs before and during project delivery
  • Liaise with Operations on project specifications
  • Coordinate transportation requirements and manage all crew travel arrangements

Project Closeout

  • Complete project post calculations
  • Close projects in an organized and timely manner

The Person

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong organizational skills
  • Prior Project Management experience
  • Ability and willingness to travel for extended periods (several weeks at a time)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with common computer tools and communication platforms, including Microsoft Office, D365, Teams, and Zoom

Performance Expectations
The performance of the individual in this role will be evaluated based on:

  • Successful completion of assigned projects
  • Effective management of project schedules, including coordination of subcontractors
  • Clear and consistent communication with team members, clients, and subcontractors
  • Overall profitability of their assigned projects
