Role Description

This Contract Nurse Practitioner (NP) role focuses on performing Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams for U.S. veterans. The responsibilities include: conducting thorough health assessments, documenting findings, and submitting medical opinions as part of the Department of Veterans Affairs' disability evaluation process. This is a contract, per diem opportunity based on-site in Colby, KS.

Qualifications

• Strong documentation, analytical, and reporting skills with attention to detail
• Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license with applicable certifications
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to support veteran interactions
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding high ethical standards
• Previous experience with veterans or C&P examinations is a plus
• Flexibility and willingness to work on-site in Colby, KS at a per diem office location provided
