RESRG Automotive is seeking you to join our team as a Supply Chain Engineer located in any one of our North American locations

Your Job

As a North American Supply Chain Engineer, you will be responsible for harmonizing and optimizing value stream frameworks across regional manufacturing sites. You will lead strategic initiatives from concept to execution, drive digital transformation in value stream mapping (VSM), and ensure consistent performance through KPI monitoring and systemic analysis. This role demands a collaborative leader with a strong Lean mindset, analytical rigor, and a passion for understanding and improving end-to-end supply chains.

What you Will do in Your Role

  • Standardize global Value Stream frameworks
    (e.g., inventory strategy, material flow, space capacity) to ensure consistency across all plants
  • Lead value stream analysis
    for strategic new business quotes, focusing on manufacturability, cost, and delivery feasibility
  • Support strategic programs
    throughout all phases: quote, launch, ramp-up, and improvement cycles
  • Coordinate and engage with local Value Stream Engineers (VSEs), supply chain managers
    and engineering teams to align priorities and share best practices across regions
  • Challenge local approaches constructively
    to promote continuous improvement and end-to-end optimization
  • Monitor and report KPIs
    such as lead time, inventory turns, and first-time quality to evaluate impact and identify systemic opportunities
  • Facilitate workshops and training
    to build Lean capability and foster a culture of continuous improvement

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in automotive manufacturing, Lean engineering, or value stream engineering
  • Strong understanding of automotive production systems, supply chain dynamics, and product lifecycle
  • Proficiency in Lean tools (VSM, Kaizen, 5S), Six Sigma, and digital manufacturing platforms
  • Experience with ERP (e.g., CMS), MES, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills across global teams
  • Ability to travel ~30%

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Green Belt or higher certification in Six Sigma
  • Knowledge of plastic injection molding, painting, or assembly operations
