Occupational Therapist

Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children of various developmental levels and diagnoses, and a strong passion for helping kids develop independence, confidence, and functional skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and create individualized treatment plans for children ages (range).
• Provide one-on-one and group OT sessions focused on fine motor skills, sensory integration, ADLs, handwriting, motor planning, and play-based development.
• Collaborate with parents, caregivers, teachers, and other clinicians to support each child's goals.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, progress notes, and reports.
• Educate families on strategies and home programs to support continued progress.
• Participate in team meetings, case discussions, and ongoing professional development.
• Ensure a safe, positive, and engaging therapeutic environment.

Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure (OTR/L).
• Experience working with pediatric populations (clinic, school, or early intervention preferred).
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of sensory integration, motor development, and pediatric treatment approaches.

Preferred Skills (Not Required):

• Experience with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, developmental delays, or sensory processing challenges.
• Familiarity with handwriting programs (e.g., Handwriting Without Tears).
• Ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team setting.

Pay: $16.50 per hour
