Direct Care Professional

Job Overview
Novum Supports is looking for caring, compassionate individuals who want to provide support and mentorship to adults with disabilities.

As a Direct Care Professional, your specific areas of focus will include: assisting clients with their personal development and individual goals, assisting them with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living), accompanying them to appointments, accessing the community with them, and more You will have an incredible opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of the inspiring people we serve.

Duties

• Assist clients with ADLs
• Assist clients with working towards their goals, which can include independent living skills, job skills, cooking, cleaning, exercise, developing healthy relationships, budgeting, etc.
• Assist clients with accessing the community and engaging in hobbies and activities that they enjoy
• Assist in planning and implementing daily programming that aligns with the clients interests, goals, and hobbies
• Model appropriate social skills and behaviors
• Document client progress towards goals

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
• Must maintain a valid drivers license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance/registration with a willingness to transport clints on a regular basis

Novum Supports is a DSPD (Division of Services for People with Disabilities) licensed provider. Novum Supports is based in Sandy, Utah and has been serving individuals with disabilities throughout Utah for over 14 years.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $ $19.00 per hour
