Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled LIMS Project Manager to oversee the implementation and management of Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall, and have experience with enterprise software solutions. This role requires excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills to ensure successful project execution and alignment with business objectives.

Duties

• Lead the planning and implementation of LIMS projects, ensuring adherence to project management methodologies such as PMBOK, Agile, SAFe, and Waterfall.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Develop detailed project schedules using tools such as Microsoft Project, TFS, or VersionOne to track progress and manage resources effectively.
• Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure that test cases are developed and executed in accordance with project specifications.
• Manage project risks and issues proactively while implementing mitigation strategies to minimize impact on timelines and deliverables.
• Communicate project status updates to stakeholders through regular meetings and reports using tools like Jira or SharePoint.
• Oversee the integration of IT infrastructure components, including databases (SQL, Oracle) and cloud computing solutions.
• Ensure compliance with IT governance standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support disaster recovery planning and release management processes for LIMS applications.

Experience

• Proven experience in project management within the software development lifecycle (SDLC), particularly in enterprise software environments.
• Strong familiarity with project management software tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Visio) for documentation and reporting purposes.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while managing time-sensitive projects with competing priorities.
• Excellent analytical skills for assessing project requirements and outcomes; adept at negotiation and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience in test-driven development methodologies is a plus.

Pay: $ $83.00 per hour
