Assistant Chef Concierge -The Fifth Avenue Hotel

The Fifth Avenue Hotel is a destination defined by personalized attention, refined hospitality, and an unwavering commitment to exceptional guest experiences. The hotel seeks an accomplished Assistant Chef Concierge to support the leadership of the Concierge team and help deliver bespoke, intuitive service that reflects the hotel's distinctive sense of elegance and discretion.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Support the Chef Concierge in leading, training, and motivating the Concierge team to achieve the highest standards of guest service and professionalism.
  • Assist with interviewing, selecting, scheduling, and coaching team members in alignment with the hotel's values and service culture.
  • Maintain comprehensive and current knowledge of the local community, cultural events, dining, shopping, and entertainment in order to provide thoughtful and informed recommendations.
  • Arrange dining reservations, transportation, entertainment, and personalized experiences tailored to individual guest preferences.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with local partners, restaurants, and service providers to ensure seamless and privileged access for guests.
  • Contribute to monitoring guest satisfaction scores and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Support departmental operations, budgeting, and staffing needs to ensure efficiency and consistency.
  • Address special or unique guest requests with creativity, resourcefulness, and poise.
  • Promote teamwork and a positive work environment that encourages open communication and collaboration.
  • Uphold sustainability, safety, and regulatory standards across all departmental functions.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Chef Concierge or hotel leadership.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of two to three years of experience in a luxury hotel or resort Concierge role, with demonstrated leadership capability.
  • Proven ability to deliver refined, anticipatory service within a high-profile setting.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of cultural, culinary, and entertainment offerings within the local and regional landscape.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor consistent with a luxury environment..
