About the Role
The Project Manager is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, execution, and completion of assigned projects. This role oversees detailing activities, manages communication with customers, and works closely with internal teams to ensure accuracy, quality, schedule adherence, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and manage multiple rebar projects simultaneously.
- Review contract documents and ensure adherence to project scope and specifications.
- Coordinate detailing, submittals, and material releases in line with project schedules.
- Serve as the primary liaison between customers, detailers, production, and billing.
- Interpret and communicate design intent from structural drawings to the detailing team.
- Review shop drawings for quality, accuracy, and constructability.
- Maintain project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and correspondence.
- Track material usage, costs, and budgets to ensure profitability.
- Collaborate with production to align fabrication timelines with project milestones.
- Identify and mitigate project risks or delays through proactive communication.
- Support internal quality assurance and safety initiatives.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent work experience accepted.
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in rebar detailing, structural design, or construction project management.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, blueprint reading, and contract interpretation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and organizational abilities with high attention to detail.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions:
- Primarily office-based, with occasional site visits required.
- Site visits may involve exposure to weather conditions, heights, and active construction areas.
- Standard business hours, with occasional extended hours based on project deadlines.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
The Project Manager role primarily involves administrative and coordination tasks performed in an office setting.
- Must be able to sit for extended periods and operate a computer and standard office equipment.
- Manual dexterity required for typing and handling documents.
- Occasional walking, bending, or lifting of materials up to 15 lbs.
- Visual and auditory acuity sufficient for reviewing drawings, plans, and communicating effectively.
- Cognitive ability to analyze complex data, make sound decisions, and manage multiple priorities.
