Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver Class A to join our team. This role involves operating a variety of commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, to transport goods safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have experience in route driving and a strong commitment to safety and compliance with all regulations.

Duties

• Operate Class A vehicles including flatbeds, for the transportation of freight.
• Load and unload cargo OR TIE DOWN other equipment as necessary.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes taken, and cargo delivered.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving on assigned routes.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road.
• Ensure the proper handling of freight to prevent damage during transit.

Skills

• Proficient in manual transmission operation and experienced with various types of trailers including flatbeds
• Strong truck driving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency in commercial driving environments.
• Previous experience as a delivery driver is required
• Ability to load and unload freight safely and efficiently.
• Familiarity with route driving practices and navigation tools.
