Job Summary:

Willowwood, a leading manufacturer of prosthetic medical devices, is looking for Controller at its headquarters in Mt. Sterling, Ohio. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Controller will oversee all financial and accounting functions within the company. This includes managing accounting staff, preparing financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, and developing and monitoring internal controls. The Controller will play a crucial role in budgeting, forecasting, monthly financial reporting and variance analysis required to support the company's annual operating goals.

Location: Mt. Sterling, Ohio

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management:

• Oversee all financial operations including cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory and general ledger
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and analysis
• Prepare ad hoc financial analysis as needed
• Lead year end financial audit; work closely with third party audit team
• Support the CFO and FPA team with strategic planning

Internal Controls and Auditing:

• Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets
• Coordinate annual audits and ensure timely completion of audit processes
• Insure compliance with internal financial policies and external regulations

Treasury Management:

• Manage cash flow and working capital to ensure the company's financial stability
• Update weekly cash forecasts and analysis
• Optimize cash management processes, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll
• Develop strategies for improving cash flow and managing financial risks
