*Job Description:*
Responsible for the operation of a dedicated mammography unit to perform 2D and 3D mammography procedures to assist physicians with formulating a medical diagnosis, while complying with safety and regulatory requirements. Perform screening mammograms in accordance with accepted standards of practice and protocols of our contracted radiologist group. Demonstrates knowledge of applicable imaging equipment to provide a safe environment for patients and staff.
*Job Requirements:*
*Education:* Successful completion of an Accredited Radiologic Technology Program
*Experience:*
* One year of experience as a radiologic technologist is preferred
* MQSA Compliant: 15 mammography specific CMEs within last 36 months
* 200 mammograms performed in last 24 months, 40 hours of initial training or ARRT (M)
* Anatomy and medical terminology preferred
* Must physically be able to position and maneuver patients to perform mammograms
* X-ray and CT experience preferred, or obtain competency within 12 months of employment.
*Licensure: *Must maintain current Washington State DOH Certified Radiologic Technologist
*Registration:* ARRT (R) or eligible for ARRT (R) exam
*Computer Skills: *Experience with the following computer applications is highly desired:
Microsoft Office (Word and Outlook), InteliSpace, Medicalis, Epict
