Duties

• Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to uphold health standards
• Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and surrounding areas to ensure a safe workspace
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables or organizing ingredients as needed
• Support catering and banquet setups by providing clean serving ware and assisting with dish organization
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely clearing of tables and proper food handling procedures
• Follow all safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and food handling to promote a hygienic environment
• Contribute to overall kitchen cleanliness through regular cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal

Skills

• Strong understanding of food handling safety standards and sanitation procedures
• Experience in food service environments such as restaurants, hotels, or catering operations is highly desirable
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
• Knowledge of basic kitchen operations including bussing tables and assisting with food prep is a plus
• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with culinary staff and servers
• Prior banquet or catering experience can enhance your ability to adapt quickly during large events
• A positive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills in hospitality and culinary environments
