The Boeing Company has an excellent opportunity for an experienced
Manufacturing Engineer
at our
Jacksonville, FL
facility with our F/A-18 support team.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

  • Build Plan development and maintenance
  • Work instruction authoring
  • Shop support
  • Reading and interpreting Engineering data
  • Structures support

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
  • 2+ years of Production Engineering experience with experience in the above job duties.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

  • Active Secret Clearance
  • 5+ years of Production Engineering experience with experience in the above job duties.
  • 1+ years' experience in Modification Repair Overhaul (MRO)

More Duties And Responsibilities (Associate)

  • Assists in the development and implementation of production and tooling methodologies.
  • Participates as a member of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) in the integration of technical solutions.
  • Works with others to develop, identify and implement conceptual designs and maintenance of the program architecture for build.
  • Assists in implementing manufacturing plans. Resolves technical problems and assists in the implementation of new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies and concepts.
  • Assists in the implementation of Lean principles and technologies. Interfaces with professional associations, suppliers, IPTs and internal customers to develop products, skills, knowledge and experience.

More Duties And Responsibilities (Mid-Level)

  • Develops and implements production and tooling methodologies.
  • Participates on Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines.
  • Develops, identifies and implements conceptual designs and maintains the program architecture for build.
  • Leads and implements manufacturing plans. Conducts producibility and variation analyses to ensure that manufacturing process capability matches requirements.
  • Assists in providing producibility information for inclusion in project plans and helps document producibility best practices.
  • Analyzes design/build concepts to evaluate producible design/build definitions.
  • Resolves technical problems of significant impact to performance, cost or schedule.
  • Coordinates and implements new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies and concepts.
  • Validates and ensures production readiness of solutions to complex problems. Implements lean principles and technologies.

Summary Pay Range
Associate - $88,200 - $107,800

Mid Level - $104,400 - $127,600
