Senior SAP Project Manager

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in SAP with at least 5 years operating in the role of an SAP Project Manager.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex greenfield, large brownfield, or transformation projects.
• Mandatory experience in both SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments, with successful execution of at least two full-cycle implementation projects.
• Proven ability to manage projects using both Agile methodology (specifically SAP Activate) and the ASAP methodology.
• Expertise in managing SAP implementation, rollout, and upgrade projects of medium to high complexity while strictly adhering to standard project management methodology, processes, and tools.
• Proficiency in using standard project management and tracking tools, with the ability to create new tracking mechanisms as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the successful delivery of complex SAP implementation, rollout, and upgrade projects, meeting all budgetary, schedule, and quality benchmarks.
• Develop, maintain, and continually monitor detailed project plans and schedules, reconciling them regularly with the baseline plan to ensure successful execution.
• Manage project financials and effectively drive project closure activities, ensuring all financial elements are accurately accounted for.
• Apply Agile Project Management practices (including SAP Activate) alongside core ASAP principles to manage project delivery and ensure rapid time-to-value.
• Proactively maintain a comprehensive Risks and Issues Log, ensuring timely follow-up and effective closure of all identified items.
• Oversee quality gating for all key deliverables and project phases to ensure a high-quality product is delivered with minimal errors.
• Manage the project scope baseline, formally track any requested changes, and secure all necessary approvals for requests for change (RFCs).
• Utilize and, when necessary, create specialized project management tools and tracking accelerators to facilitate efficient project execution and reporting.
