Role Description

We are looking for full-time or part-time, on-site role for an Associate Veterinarian based in Salinas, CA. The Associate Veterinarian will provide medical care to companion animals, including conducting physical exams, diagnosing illnesses, formulating treatment plans, and performing surgical procedures. Additional responsibilities include educating pet owners about preventive care, participating in clinical discussions, and contributing to the overall care excellence of the clinic.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of veterinary medicine, including diagnostics, treatment planning, and surgical procedures
• Effective communication and client education skills to build strong relationships with pet owners and team members
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and maintain a positive approach to patient care
• Commitment to continuing education and staying updated on advancements in veterinary medicine
• Valid Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent and licensure to practice veterinary medicine in California
• Experience in small animal medicine and surgery is highly beneficial
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
