About the Role

We're looking for an
AI Developer Intern
to help build and refine ticker's proprietary AI stack. This role is ideal for someone excited by the challenge of applying machine learning and large language models (LLMs) to
real-world fintech use cases
—from analyzing financial documents to delivering personalized investor insights.

You'll work directly with our product and engineering team to ship features that power search, synthesis, categorization, and user guidance.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop and refine AI modules for:
• Web search and summarization
• User classification
  by investing style and experience
• Learning models
  to personalize responses and improve over time
• Financial document analysis
  (e.g., earnings reports, statements)
• Document analysis
  (e.g., News articles, user comments)
• Data base analysis
  (e.g., SQL DB, Embedding DB)
• Integrate APIs and third-party tools (e.g., OpenAI, LangChain, )
• Build prototypes, test outputs, and fine-tune models based on performance
• Collaborate cross-functionally with the design, product, and development teams
• Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code

Who You Are

• Proficient in
  Python
  and experienced with AI/ML concepts
• Experienced with
  C++
  programming language
• Familiar with (or eager to learn):
• LLM APIs
  (e.g., OpenAI, Claude, Mistral)
• LangChain
  ,
  FastAPI
  ,
  RAG pipelines
  ,
  Pinecone
  , or other vector DBs
• Basic financial literacy
  and interest in equity markets
• Embedding related algorithms

• A strong communicator who thrives in a startup environment and collaborates well across disciplines
