Job Summary
MUST BE 21 OR OLDERWe are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our team in providing exceptional experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. Experience with POS systems, alcohol/beer, and hospitality settings. The Server will play a key role in creating memorable guest experiences through attentive service and effective communication.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests immediately upon the guess entering the restaurant and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation quality and adherence to food safety standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, service stations, and dining areas in compliance with health regulations
- Assist with bussing tables, setting up dining areas, and supporting kitchen staff when needed
- Respond to guest inquiries promptly, resolve issues professionally, and foster positive guest relations
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service flow
- Follow all sanitation procedures and food handling protocols to ensure guest safety
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable, especially in fine dining or hospitality settings
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is preferred
- Experience with culinary arts, food preparation, or kitchen operations is a plus
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during busy periods
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest experience and sales performance
- Prior experience in nightclub serving or host/host roles can be advantageous but not required
