Responsibilities
Manage technical programs by leading software team's efforts to develop application software for Meta products. Build, coordinate, and maintain software features and schedules, and track execution at task level across cross-functional teams, coordinate shared resources, and ensure timely delivery. Capture and keep detailed and well-organized records of product software requirements, cross-functional communication, meetings, problems and risks. Facilitate software design, problem solving and risk mitigation. Identify resources needed and work closely with team leaders to maintain full visibility of the project schedule and potential roadblocks. Write specifications, drive project schedules form design to release, and manage the production launch. Work with teams to alleviate project bottlenecks and escalate the need to resolve issues when executive support is required. Build and manage relationships with hardware, software and algorithm vendors and other external partners, including creating statements of work. Lead and coordinate design/implementation efforts between internal teams and outside merchants and vendors to develop optimal solutions. Drive deliverables from external partners and ensure that they have the information and resources needed to succeed. Understand and communicate technical information to non-experts.
Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor's degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Engineering, Applied Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, or related field, followed by 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in job offered or in a technical management-related occupation Requires 5 years of experience in the following: Technical project management Leading complex software development efforts Software Engineering Design and development of embedded products Communication with cross functional teams and external partners Device bring-ups and Kernel software (Device drivers) Ability to take projects and break them down into pieces, develop specifications, and deliver them and Managing projects and developing and driving high-level strategic initiatives
