Overview:

We are a two-provider private medical practice located in Carmel, Indiana. We have a unique opportunity available for an ideal candidate.

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will bring extensive clinical expertise, particularly in the outpatient care setting, with experience utilizing EMR systems, ideally Athena. This role involves providing patient assessments and managing complex medical conditions. The APP will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care in pain management.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments including physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations
  • Manage acute and chronic pain conditions
  • Utilize EMR system, Athena for documentation of medical records, CPT coding, ICD-9/ICD-10 coding, and data management

Position Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant Program
  • Prefer 2 years of clinical healthcare experience preferably in an outpatient setting
  • Clinical experience and/or strong interest in Pain Medicine preferred
  • Current and unrestricted State of Indiana licensure
  • Current and unrestricted DEA license
  • Electronic Medical Record Experience (EMR) *Athena preferred
  • ACLS and BLS Certified
  • Must be a caring and compassionate provider with outstanding interpersonal skills
  • Must be comfortable with medication management

Position Opening:

  • Full-time (40 hours per week), benefited, and salaried position
  • Part-time (less than 30 hours per week) available if preferred
  • Clinic hours:

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday 8:30am – 4:00pm,
Thursdays 8:30am – Noon

Experience:

  • Additional certifications related to specific specialties such as pain management or hospice & palliative medicine are advantageous.
