Delivery Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong focus on safety, route efficiency, and maintaining a positive customer experience. Experience with warehouse operations, heavy lifting, and commercial driving is preferred to ensure smooth delivery processes.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate box trucks to deliver products to customers and clients.
• Load and unload goods using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling techniques.
• Manage route driving efficiently to meet delivery schedules while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers during deliveries and addressing any concerns professionally.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with company policies.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and obtain necessary signatures upon delivery.
• Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory management, stock organization, and moving supplies when required.
• Follow all safety procedures related to heavy lifting, moving, and operating manual transmission vehicles.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a warehouse delivery driver, preferably with route driving experience in a box truck or similar vehicle.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to operate vehicles safely.
• Experience with warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks is advantageous.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
• Capable of heavy lifting and physical activity involved in loading, unloading, and moving items.
• Familiarity with route planning and navigation tools for efficient deliveries.
